Well the stripping continued and I am not the proud owner of a large bunch of motorcycle parts :)

In the photo below you can see what has been stripped from the bike, never to go back on it.

I bought this rolling stool as I was getting sore from kneeling on the ground, best $90 spent ever !!!

Still pulling it apart

Simple things can get difficult if you dont know what you are doing (bear in mind I have no mechanical training and I am basically winging it ) Getting the forks off sucked.

Got a mate to come over to help lift the motor out, much easier with two people. Sure you could probably do it yourself but why risk injury or damage to the motor?
Bought these engine bolts to replace the rusty ones, even gave them an extra polish !!

Ready for chemical stripping and then its off to the powder coater

I had to take the tank to get the fuel tap hole moved as it was stopping the tank from sitting right.
All these little things pop up along the way to piss you off but what can you expect when you are making something totally different?

A comparison shot of the old vs new indicators. Pretty funny

On the left is a polished bolt, on the right a piece of crap

Motor mount brackets even get some love, will paint them up with heat proof paint.

Cant wait to get the frame back !!!!
Also took the forks to get new seals and it turns out the uppers are, how do I put this nicely????? Fucked. They are bent and some of the  chrome has come off so  I am looking for replacements right now.

Until next time :) Stay safe out there
